The McCarthy Insurance Agency has been speaking to local individuals and families since 2020. We are a small independent insurance agency that is focused on offering Life Insurance and Specialty Insurance for Collector Cars and Jewelry.

My career selling insurance began in Dearborn, MI in the spring of 1985. Prudential Insurance was my first job when I relocated from Connecticut.

On a cold snowy day in January of 1986, a serious car accident put me in a wheelchair for life. I was thrown through the windshield of my Porsche 911 and put in a coma for a month with a broken skull and neck, I woke up permanently disabled.  I was discharged from the hospital a year later to live with my parents and was able to finish my degree in Psychology. My first job out of school was selling insurance for Oxford Health Plans.

I was married in 2000 to my beautiful loving Filipina wife Benny. She is an RN and helps me in many ways each and everyday. We enjoy a wonderful life together and together we had a baby boy in 2006, the same year I started substitute teaching for Norwalk Public Schools for 10years. My life's most rewarding years.

Life is very unpredictable and you have to be prepared and ready for unexpected loss. The only certainty in life is there is always change and uncertainty in our daily lives. We must adapt to the changes we deal with everyday and we should learn how we could  be protected and secure from.

Ever since I started my agency my true purpose in my work is to educate people on how to be covered and secure for loss. I have  personally experienced life changing losses and I am very knowledgeable to answer your questions about insurance coverage for your lives, your families and the special sentimental collections/ belongings/ property you hold close.
